The Clinician Scientist Fellowship supports physicians with a doctoral degree who pursue both a clinical and an academic career. It provides funds to cover the own position for up to 18 months in order to be released from patient care in favour of research purposes and to gain independence. These 18 months of research time can be flexibly distributed over a period of three years.
