They come from universities, industry and research institutes in the U.S. and Europe and are leading experts in cardiovascular research: The Scientific Advisory Board of the German Centre for Cardiovascular Research (DZHK) convened in the head office in Berlin at the beginning of January for its constitutive meeting.

“The fact that these outstanding scientists dedicate their time to us shows the high expectations that are placed on us nationally and internationally,” said Thomas Eschenhagen, chairman of the board of the DZHK.

At the end of an informative day, FitzGerald, speaking on behalf of the Advisory Board, praised the first-class research and the open atmosphere as well as the commitment of all participants involved in the DZHK.
