On their annual meeting at 10th April 2015, the members of the German Society of Cardiology (DGK) elected Hugo Katus from the DZHK partner site Heidelberg/Mannheim as the new DGK president. He will take office in 2017.
For the current legislature, Karl-Heinz Kuck from the partner site Hamburg /Kiel/Lübeck took the presidency. Andreas Zeiher from the partner site Rhine-Main will be president of the 2016 Annual Meeting. Martin Borggrefe from Heidelberg /Mannheim was elected as president of the Annual Meeting in 2017.
