Cardiovascular diseases are a global problem, which is why the DZHK collaborates with researchers worldwide.
In 2018, the DZHK launched a joint funding scheme with the British Heart Foundation (BHF). In this first round of funding, approximately four million euros (two million per partner) were available. Since the second call (deadline of October 2019), the Dutch Heart Foundation (Hartstichting) has participated as a third partner in the international research funding program.
In Germany, members of the DZHK (DZHK Principal Investigators or "DZHK Scientists") are eligible to apply.
