We established a cardiovascular screen to investigate such mouse models. We aimed at establishing non-invasive echocardiography of the left and right ventricle, Doppler echocardiography and electrocardiography in awake mice. Our protocol allows the diagnosis of biventricular cardiac pathologies and to study symptom occurrence and disease progression non-invasively in high throughput. Many new cardiac phenotypes have been successfully identified in mice. ↑ |
