AI & model based decision support systems in cardiovascular disease

AI and model based methods have huge potential to extend purely evidence-based methods for improving diagnosis and treatment planning. The DZHK site Berlin aims to implement computer assisted decision support systems (AI & model based DSS) in major cardiovascular diseases, including structural heart disease, cardiomyopathies and advanced coronary artery disease. Based on own previous work in this field on e.g. structural heart disease and intensive medical monitoring of patients, the initial focus will be coronary heart disease. However, the proposed methods create a basis that can also be transferred to other diseases and across DZHK sites. With these main goals in mind, the following methodological components shall be ad-vanced:
