The Cardiological Competence Networks

The Cardiological Competence Networks make valuable contributions to the collaborative research of cardiac diseases. The DZHK has therefore been funding selected studies and structures of the Cardiological Competence Networks since 2015. The focus is on guideline-relevant studies in the area of heart failure and atrial fibrillation as well as the support of the National Registry for Congenital Heart Defects.

Funding for the Competence Network Heart Failure ended in 2019. Funding for the other two networks ended in 2021. The DZHK continues to work closely with the three Cardiology Competence Networks.
